So, I've managed into turning in all of my old textbooks for amazon money, and it made more than enough to buy a TABLET. Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen + Touch Tablet, to be highly specific. I just got it set up today, and will be abusing the heck out of the free software it comes with until I muster up more money to buy a full version of Manga Illustrator or something. In any case, I'm really psyched about it. Just trying to get the hang of one's drawings appearing on the screen in front of you instead of below your hand at this point. So it seems I only check this and/or start caring about my Deviantart page, or lack of one, every year or so. But due to some amount of self-realization brought about by a Personal Development class I'm taking, I realized I really like Art. And even if I find my talents to be meager in the face of the amazingness that oozes from this website, instead of giving up I will simply try harder. Attempt successful. Not using the actual printer program that's supposed to be able to scan the photos for you, but other stuff works and it will suffice. ^_^ More will come soon, as I have printed quite a few, but first I have to talk to those whom I photographed, since personally my primary interest is in portraiture of some form. And sometime I'll try and upload something of the drawing-type, if I color anything anytime soon, since the scanner doesn't pick up pencil so good. :/
